The Harlow Co-operative Development Agency (Harlow CDA) aims to be the agency of choice for people to develop and support co-operatives and social enterprises in the Harlow and district area.
 

We aim to achieve this by:

• Providing support, development and advancement of all co-operatives and social enterprises in Harlow and the surrounding areas.
• Acting as a bridge from the voluntary and community sector to the business sector and vice versa.
• Offering business mentoring and business planning opportunities to people who find it hard to access mainstream provisions.
• Raising awareness of social enterprise and co-operative principles.

A board of directors manages the Harlow CDA, and our members are mainly made up from the existing co-operative businesses in Harlow.  All co-operative businesses in Harlow are entitled to a seat on our board.
